A visit to a falach farmyard (near Pardes-Hana) – we will learn about the masonry and various building styles of the past, water supply of the past – the rainwater cistern. Then we will visit the traditional guestroom - “madafe”, drinking herbal tea and eating a fresh-baked hot pita with olive oil and za’atar, while hearing authentic tales and stories about the place. Authentic food can be purchased on-site!
“Pehama” (Coallery) – A place where the coal is processed. A visit to Goat’s Pen – located near the Rikhan settlement and the Or-Rikhan nature preserve. We will learn about the treatment of goat and various goat products. Cheese etc. can be purchased on-site!
Olive harvesting and visit an olive press (2 hours) – available in October-November.

A Visit to “Our Sons Monument”
A visit to “Ohel Said” (Said’s Tent) – elected in memory of IDF(Zahal) Muslim soldiers that fell tragically in the year 2004 in order to remember the Muslim soldiers who served in the IDF (Zahal), offered a helping hand in defending Israel and gave their lives in doing so.
The parents of the fallen soldiers welcome the visitors to the monument. Their wish is to bring Arabs and Jews in Israel closer, particularly those living in the Wadi-Ara area. The monument offers a bird's eye view of the entire region that can be seen as far as Mt. Carmel.

A visit to the “Flavor and Cure Plant Center” – including a guided tour in the site and profound explanations of plant blanching to human’s health.
A visit to the agro-tourist orangery – including comprehensive explanation about unique dry plants – the succulents.
A visit to Goat’s Pen – located near the oak wood, including inclusive explanation about the location and the region.
A Tour of Views – visiting multiple locations that provide the historical and geographical background to the region.

Then we will be treated as special guests in the traditional guestroom “madafe”, drinking herbal tea and eating a fresh-baked hot pita with olive oil and za’atar, while hearing authentic tales and stories about the place.
A Tour of Views – visiting multiple locations that provide the historical and geographical background to the region, including a tour in Katzir-Harish settlement. We will learn about the “Green line” and the “West Bank Barrier”.
A visit to Goat’s Pen – located near the Rikhan settlement and the Or-Rikhan nature preserve.
A visit to the Artist district in Katzir – we will visit a ceramicist; listen to stories about his life and practice. We will also learn about pottery – the process of turning the clay into a work of art. Option to buy works on-site.
